And the good news is, the author Elizabeth Chadwick is going to write a novel, at some point in the future, about the Empress Matilda, a much neglected lady, in my opinion. Perhaps not very likeable in some ways, but definitely interesting! I can hardly wait!

I'm with you Anne! I think that will be a very interesting story for EC to write, and for us to read!

We'll probably have to wait a while for it, unfortunately. I was thinking(I have a very vague idea at the moment) that would be a (sort of) continuation of my Great Medieval Science Fiction Masterpiece, that would feature Matilda. I think the ages have not been kind to her at all.
