Oops, again

Oops, I forgot again. It seems that the Lorsch Abbey, near Worms, is of an earlier date than the Anglo-Saxon leechdoms. This manuscript seems to come from the time of Charlemagne. And was probably influence by his drive to have a literate class of people with "knowledge" In any case, the Anglo Saxon leechdoms or leech books, may have been partially copied form that source, with other "stuff" inserted. I like the word "wortcunning" used to describe the herbalists in the second book. (actually, this is volume II, I have not been able to find volume I on line.)
